New Data Privacy Regulations: What Every Business Needs to Know by March 1st!

Presented by The Massachusetts Restaurant Association Educational Foundation

Last year, Massachusetts enacted a comprehensive data security law intended to protect residents from identity theft. While many assumed that the law would be focused on protecting consumers, it broadly covers all businesses with employees in Massachusetts, not just those that collect customer information. Recent regulations impose significant compliance obligations on all employers and require action by March 1st.

We invite you to join us for a panel discussion regarding the nuts and bolts of complying with the law and its regulations. Our panel will guide you through these requirements and help you develop a plan for protecting your employees' and customers' confidential information. · Identifying covered information · Developing a plan for protected personal information.
