David joined Arctaris in March of 2009 to support the investing and fundraising activities of the firm, especially in the area of financial modeling. Prior to Arctaris, David worked with
Andy Clapp at Federal Street Capital, an affiliate of Brook Venture Fund. While with Federal Street, David worked with various clients in the high tech, medical technology, digital media, data management and consumer product industries. David’s focus was on strategically positioning companies for private placements of growth capital.
David began his professional career at Merrill Lynch & Co. on their equity new issue desk. There, he actively participated in the marketing and sale of equity public offerings across many industry sectors. Subsequently, David traveled to London where he worked for AIG in their Global Investments Group. For AIG, he worked as a member of their secondary private equity group which participated in the bidding process of large portfolios of privately held European middle market companies. David received his B.S. of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Investments from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
